Domestic Violence Information System

Critical Resource Technology, a leader in developing integrated, database-driven web applications for the government market delivered an award winning Domestic Violence Information System (DVIS) in use by the Palm Beach Count Court System.   The system is written using Microsoft ASP.Net technology and integrates with the Microsoft SQL Server databases containing victim, defendant, and criminal information.  DVIS consolidates information between law enforcement, criminal justice, public school and social service agencies.

DVIS has received attention from the US Congress and Florida State University is studying the DVIS project to make recommendation for applying the application Statewide.  DVIS was also selected by the Chief Information Officer of Florida to compete in the National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) in the Government to Government (G2G) division.Read the latest published newsletter on DVIS.
